Team Leader
Next Step Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established supported living provider in Leighton Buzzard, looking for an experienced Team Leader to join their service.
About the role:
You’ll lead a team of support workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, supporting individuals to live as independently as possible. Alongside your leadership duties, you’ll be hands-on in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a role model and point of contact for your team.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising a team of support workers
- Supporting with rotas, staff supervisions, and team performance
- Delivering direct, person-centred support to individuals
- Liaising with families and external professionals
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity for the people supported
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a support work or team leader role within social care
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live independently
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence desirable
